Highlights From the 24-Hour Dedication Day
Dedicated on the 1st day of NISSAN - Saturday, March 13th, 6 pm - Sunday, March14th, 6 pm Jerusalem Time
God is the Author of time. He is the One who said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so." (Gen. 1:14-15)
Nissan 1 on God’s calendar is a turning point. It is the first day of the biblical New Year. Genesis 40 records His design and declares that when we follow His instructions - Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. (Ex. 40: 34)
We are gathering commitments from leaders and nations who have pledged to lead three-hour watches and many who participated in a special dedication of this altar as we consecrated it to the Lord on Nissan 1. "Then the Lord said to Moses, “Set up the Tabernacle on the first day of the new year." (Ex. 40:1-2)
We are asking leaders in nations who share God's heart of intercession for Israel's return and restoration to make a commitment by representing their nation, to help bring repair to the Altar of Prayer by ensuring that it has the 12 Stones, representing the whole House of Israel (1 Kings 18:30,31). This is a call for the Body of Christ to cry out to God regarding the exodus plans for His people, all of which is connected to a Gospel that is built on the foundations of the apostles and the prophets with Christ Jesus being the Chief Cornerstone.
History records that before every move of God, altars of prayer were restored. Now is the time when His covenant promises are being fulfilled - to return the scattered house of Israel to their land. We, His ‘other’ children (Gentiles), have the privilege to pray in the greatest exodus in history. The Holy One of Israel is inviting us to mark this New Year by building a sacred Altar of Prayer focused on Aliyah, the return from exile of the Children of Israel to their land and to their God.
Join with praying people from nations all over the globe as together we restore the Altar of Prayer for Aliyah. Set aside one day each week to participate in a 3- hour prayer watch, align and consecrate your life of prayer to God’s design.
There will be 8 three-hour prayer/worship watches throughout each 24-hour day beginning on Passover (March 27th 6pm Jerusalem time) as follows:
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Rebekah Cummings was a gifted artist, musician, and composer with an overcoming faith and a deep love for God and His people Israel. As a team member and leader, she was involved in several houses of prayer to include harp and bowl ministries. In 2002, she created this pencil sketch for a house of prayer in Hamilton ON (Canada) to depict the day and night, night and day “vertical” ministry of these prayer ministries. Sadly, Rebekah passed away in March 2019 at the age of 38. “Who is this coming up out of the wilderness, leaning on her Beloved?"

“Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to the LORD, to serve Him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be His servants— Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant— Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” The Lord GOD, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, “Yet I will gather to him Others besides those who are gathered to him.” -Isaiah 56:6-8
